How many official cassettes were produced by the Sisters of mercy? Tx.
Yes radiojamaica it's all about collecting, that's the reason of my question.radiojamaica wrote:I just love those tapes! <neo-luddite alert!> They sound great!
I believe every release of the Sisters (be it a single, album or compilation) from First & Last & Always up to A Slight Case of Overbombing was also released on cassette.
They're certainly not worth too much in terms of dollars & cents, but collectionwise they're pretty cool
Tx for input, Paul!paul wrote:I don't collect tapes myself, but I believe in Russia they pop up regularly, sometimes including "interesting" artwork.

Are we talking about the LAM tapes, the Sistersones or both? Original post in reference to the LAM demos, but a sisters tape collection might be a funt hing to start...Ozpat wrote:They are lovely yes and will be collected as well.
Let's talk about Sisters tapes... Link only to say that cassettes are high valued, seems...Maisey wrote:Are we talking about the LAM tapes, the Sistersones or both? Then here's a useful link:Dark wrote:Personally I would like to see more of the Russian BudKon flexis and Polish Postcards (Polpress? Tonpress?), of which I've seen a fair few by TSOM.
None of the pre-Floodland singles came out on cassette; and Lucretia didn't come out as cassette in the UK - just the US.Nic wrote:Nice info. How about the cassette singles?
