28, 34, 36, hut, hut, hike!
Of those, the Johnny Cash one is fine, but I'm not a fan.
The Grandaddy sounds like Neil Young at his most mawkish, indulgent and somnolent. Nothing wrong with that if you're Neil Young, but Grandaddy ain't Neil Young. I remember liking Crystal Lake.
The Spiritualized is bombastic nonsense, but not in a good way. Typical NME, even when they pick a good band they have to select their worst LP.

I've got two: LCD Soundsystem and The Knife. Both good albums but I can think of plenty of better ones released this decade, none of which would make it anywhere near a list compiled by the NME. Does anyone actually give a f**k about that children's comic these days? Strokes, Libertines, Arctic Monkeyzzzz ... Christ, I don't know - when did kids become so undemanding? (To paraphrase somebody or other).

Great albums this past 9 years, well Go Away White by The Bauhaus comes in at numero uno for me.
After that I'm strugglin'... let's see...

well ok i'd choose: electric six 'Switzerland', eveythin by Beck accept 'odelay' and a bit to emo 'sea change' BOC 'geogadi', Eno & Byrne, FGG ( have you forget about this 'oh, James'), Cale 'black acetate' and 'alles wider offen' by EN.
