Drink plenty of Fosters, wear a hat with corks dangling from it, and call everyone "Bruce" and you'll do just fine. OK Bruce!
Best of luck.

Only been to Sydney, but the lifestyle seems pretty okay. Not too fast paced & not too slow either.
Rent & salaries I can't help on but the beer is expensive.
Oh & don't ask for Fosters or XXXX
Coopers is what you want, but I did find cider readily available.
I covered the important stuff I think

House prices are kinda expensive depending on where you're gonna live, Sydney is ridiculous in some areas and impossible to find a rental in others...kinda like London in some ways...example is a 2 bed bungalow close to Bronte is worth over 1.5 million Aus Dollars. If it had been two streets north (ie Bondi beach) add another million
You may find that property is similar in price to here, and rent will be about the same. Only difference is that Aus Banks will do a 45 year mortgage to make things more affordable.
XXXX is much better there, than the UK p*ss, and VB (Victoria Bitter) Stubbies are great. Drive through Off Licences are designed for the seasoned drinker
My feeling of the place is that it's the best of both the UK and the USA...even if you don't decide to stay it's worth it for the experience...

Thank you all ,i've been reserching all day long in the web,if it's all cool tomorrow my biggest fear is the long long flight-London-Melbourne-22 hours
but I'll get over it for what it's worth
Coopers is cool but my all tim fav. is the fookin' Newcastle Brown Ale-outstanding beer it is.
Anyway, since they liked my work it's all about the interview tomorrow,i get anxious on interviews but i guess with some Valeriana I'll do just fine

there is a demand for people with "English Background", probably to do with the over-supply of Asian migrations with qualifications but more limited English language skills. I suggest you talk up your experience
in managing others and related team and client skills.
house prices are high, rents are high, salaries are good, in the demand jobs. cost of living has gone up alot in the last 6 years alone, I'm talking food prices etc. Taxes are high, government paperwork is expensive.
the streets are clean, air's clean, the sun shines alot, the summers are hot.
there's not much architecture, or historical background compared to
Europe. And its a looooonnnng way home. If you like visiting Gothic cathederals, english pubs and tiny hamlets every weekend, you're gonna get home sick (trust me, you will

Watch for the venomous snakes, the venomous spiders, the venomous fish... hells, Australia even has a venomous mammal! (The duck-billed platypus, if you wondered.)

Oh come on, the Platypus? Seriously, that cute little bugger isn't venomous, or is he?!

It is not. It does lay eggs, though ...

Yes it
is. From the very wiki link you just posted:
It is one of the few venomous mammals, the male platypus having a spur on the hind foot that delivers a venom capable of causing severe pain to humans.

I was surprised when I found out too. It sometimes seems like everything in the whole continent is trying to kill people

There MUST be cuddly harmless animals in Oz, too! What about koala bears?

All went well i think
now is just wainting for the final judgement.
p.s.
The box Jelly fish is known as the worlds most venomous marine creature and has killed more Australians then sharks , crocodiles , and stone fish combined
imagine if it had brains, this nasty little creature

It does look like an evil alien super brain
Great that it went well! Now you will only need to watch out not to get platypussed/jellyfished/whatevered to death down there
