VON'S GRANDFATHER

In the second row of the UTR article below , Von says something about his grandfather (apparently making fun of a fan about how well the latter would've gotten along with Eldo's grandfather were he still alive). Like mana from heaven, indeed! Check it out, boils & ghouls!

Well I would assume - based on the reasonable supposition that Von arrived in the world by the commonly accepted manner rather than being, say, spawned in a vat - that he certainly did have a grandfather at some point in time.

he wasn't born, he was knitted by the WRVS. or WVS as it was known then.

Aren't Von's grandfather and Eldo's grandfather the same person?

I understand the source of the confusion:
demolitionsisters presumably meant "the latter" to refer to "a fan" inside the brackets, whereas it could equally well mean "his grandfather" outside the brackets. And if it means the latter (!) then we're talking about Von's grandfather getting along with Eldo's grandfather.

Exactly. In fact, I worked it out after I'd written the post but decided to post anyway cos it might be vaguely funny. Considering the response I got, I don't actually care any more whether it was or wasn't.

It is here, down this very page in Sisters Chat ...

Manna From Heaven can be found somewhere too, if you take the effort ...
a great audience fanbase recording from The Sisters' gig at Leamington's Assembly last year (artwork included)
featuring
Rain From Heaven played live for the first time ever and the Slow Bump version of
Body Electric ... very sexy ...

Yeah sorry. I hate to spoil your joke by explaining it.
