Oh, it was! Thanx for the info, I always wondered were that sample originated from... did expect something else thoughQuiff Boy wrote:sorry, thought i'd made it obvious![]()
Shocking, isn't it?spot778 wrote:You guys just figured that out now
Bit of a tangent but I once bought an official Bela t-shirt in Poundstretcher in Derry! For non Ireland/UK types Poundstretcher was/is a kind of Pound/Euro store before they ever existed. A very surprising place to get a Bauhaus shirt!Pista wrote:Bit of necro, but hey ho!
Bauhaus to release The Bela session including 3 previously unreleased tracks
Hipsters gonna hip. It's almost as if they don't get the irony of a Bauhaus record on anything but black vinyl...Pista wrote:Six albums to be re-issued on coloured vinyl
They played a one-off in 2005 followed by a tour in 2006. I expect the same to occur this time around.Bartek wrote:I'd love to spent my money on their gig.
I guess, if they not gonna kill themselves before and after that gig, some big tour gonna come.
I believe that Peter M. is in good health and shape after this heart attack.
Hell yeah! Daniel Ash is just one of those great guitar players. Innovative like Alex Lifeson, obscure, like Robert Smith, slippery like Pottsy (could you really get a better guitar player for those Light renditions of Joy Division), and a big flash rock star bastard like Ace Frehley. Daniel Ash is more Bauhaus than Bauhaus in my opinion...just that those Love and Rockets records were crap where Peter's solo albums weren't. He needs Peter singing for his guitar work to be something we can hear.Husek wrote:question here is, does having both Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins on stage adds anything to the experience? I mean, Peter Murphy + David J was pretty much a full blown bauhaus gig imho.
