Nice to finally meet you lot...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hey there! I'm Ollie.
Been lurkin' for the past year or so, not really sure (Probably too shy) if I should join in and say Hi, but alas, I've worked up some courage.
I'm 15, from south England, studying practical music in Sixth form, seemingly the only one of this bloody generation with a sense of direction

But before I start throwing a tantrum, I'll give you the right impression :innocent: Am I cool yet?

And also, I've been worshipping the sisters since a mate of mine showed them to me around a year and a half ago.
Fell in love, first song I heard was "Lights", then "Walk away", and since that moment, I could probably tell you just about all the words to any of the songs.
Not showin' off or anything... :von:
Favourite song is On The Wire. Hadn't heard that one untill I actually bought the Walk Away single at a local record shop. I was left dumbstruck :notworthy:

Ehh... Much to the distaste of almost everyone ever, I REALLY wasn't a fan of VT.
I mean, I like it, but Everything before that was just mesmerizing, and then it comes along, and just a little to loud for me... :innocent:

Can well be, there's a loud silence in songs like Something Fast, Doctor Jeep, I Was Wrong and even Ribbons ...

compared to the - perhaps mesmerising - thunders of On The Wire or Poison Door or Amphetamine Logic ... ...

It's an unusually mixed bag. And I like coarse, loud rock 'n' roll, but still find that even the good songs largely lack the magic we are accustomed to.
