RSD 2014 - take 2

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Good to see that Faith No More have mellowed and are growing old gracefully - the new song is called "Motherf*cker".

I've become a bit sceptical of record store day. Although it's a nice initiative, I didn't fare so well last time. I wanted the vinyl of Type O Negative's first album which was being pressed on nice 180g double LP. The stores who participated in Belgium didn't respond to my emails about the record being for sale there. Apparently it was a US release only (which I only found out through facebook groups, rather than the official site or participating stores). So I ended up paying 60€ to some shark on eBay who's just in it for the money (it had only cost him 30 USD). And that for a band which had it's biggest crowds in Europe, and numerous tours. What a way to treat fans/RSD customers!
I do not necessarily agree with everything I think. -AE

That is pretty shoddy.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

Yeah, those US releases can be a pain in the ass to get your hands on over here... but mostly some of them come through eventually. I was after that Christian Death 7" and the fine chaps of Bilbo records in Leuven got one for me. And some other very cool releases too.
Which shops did you ask?
