WANTED: James Ray & The Longfolk CD

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Warning: Newcomers posting here first will be treated like spammers. At least have the courtesy to say hello in General Chat first...

Seeking an original copy of this disc to complete my collection. I have a half-dozen or more SOM bootlegs if a trade is desired, or name thy price. Please PM me.

Very hard to find. I had bought one, if I had ever seen one.

However, it is included in this recent release of James Ray's ... ...

Mind you the original was a cdr. Well done and all, but a cdr...
I bought one at the time, but have never seen one again so I don't think that many copies were around actually.
Good luck with the quest!

Not spotted anything on here about these two new James Ray re-releases, which might interest some:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Destination-Ass ... ys+gangwar

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dust-Boat-Merci ... y_15_img_y

None of these, nor the bandcamp download seem to include the flexi-disc track, which is a glaring omission! Still, will probably get them...

^^ I recommend you track down the original releases, the remasters have some useful bonus tracks but fail in the sonics department.

I provided a needledrop of Underdog to the label that did the Bandcamp project but it was admittedly quite a ropey transfer due to the condition of the disc. I doubt whether any of them have survived with good sound quality.

don't think my copy is too bad; not played it for 10+ years; not sure my record player even works any more though.

Have you had any luck tracking down a copy? I think I've got mine still in my box of CDs, signed with a personal little msg from JR after I'd evaluated the gig he'd just finished (4080 peru or something I can't quite recall?). It's a cool record but I never listen to it so it's yours if you wish.
