If you could steal one thing from Von's basement....

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Master tapes of the next three records... which surely must exist since they record all the time. Right?

I want the snake-skin print shirt from the RAH gig in 1985.

Alternatively, you don't have to go as far as the basement. Sneak into his living room on a sunny afternoon, purloin the sleeping cat from the sofa, and leave a note intimating that if he ever wants to see Fluffy again he needs to make with the album-releasing.

Those groovy heart-shaped glasses he wore in the '90s. Or maybe the FALAA-era hat.

...Alternatively, I'd snag a copy of The Damage Done and sell that sucker for as much cash as I could get out of it. Always got to think of making a profit, you know... :innocent:

I would go for the box of memorabilia (flyers, posters, reviews, contracts etc) from the gigs of 1981-1985.

Every item of neon-colored clothing (can that count as "one item"?)

He'd thank me for it someday.

Hmmmm....first I'll have to distory the source of neon (take that Being645 ;))

And after I finish accepting the thanks of a grateful nation, I'm breaking back in and taking the parallax.

Don't know why, but I would not want to invade his house/home to steal his belongings. I didn't even thounght about that. But maybe because I would not want to have my house burgled? Maybe.

I didn't even thought about the possibility that someone would take this thread seriously

I'd go after any boxes marked "unimportant", "cannot be arsed", "boring" etc. in hope to find the the unreleased stuff quick before sultan2075 gets there!

Really? ... ... Pah! ... :urff: ... Though, I can easily imagine that such things might have happened back in the days ... disgusting ... :urff: :urff: :urff: ...

I know how it feels. I've lived in places, where the same people you'll meet in the corridor next day broke into my room x times,
stealing almost everything that could be made into cash or that they could just make use of in any other way. Like the electric
coffee grinder, which had been the only memory of my late Grandmother. They could have asked. I surely had lend it to them. Lovely.
Finally, I got home one day to find some intoxinated couple in my bed telling me that someone upstairs had told them they could sleep
there. Thanks. OK, they left, but they also left scabbies. Very cool. Those were the days ! And only one short excerpt of it ... but hell,
half of them idiots are dead, and it still makes me sad, because they were my friends, people of whom I knew where they came from,
how they felt, and who I saw going down like flies on a trap ... :( ...

But back to joking ...
@EmmaPeelWannaBe :D
OK. That does not include the pretty yellow shirt, then ... ;D ...
Sorry for you, though - there is no way to take away the parallax ... ... you/we can only reduce it ... I'm with you on that ... :D ...

I just don't like idea/thread title. If it was something like: if you can get just one thing from AE basemennt/storage ... But stealing? Only riff can be steal.

I agree, being burgled is a horrible experience and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
