Messages sitting in outbox not being sent

What should I do?

They're sitting there stubbornly not moving and I can't see a way to press any send button again, only save or delete options. Advice appreciated, thanks.

It means the person you sent it to hasn't read it yet.

If you delete a message while it's still in the outbox it'll also disappear from the other person's inbox and they won't be able to read it.
