Is this a boot?

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Warning: Newcomers posting here first will be treated like spammers. At least have the courtesy to say hello in General Chat first...

@ Cell Three

Yep thats a Bootleg - AFAIK its quite a rarity - but there are people on this mighty forum that could tell you more - Dr Sisters comes to mind!

£100 does seem very steep for a single album - perhaps someone has a copy of the gig on CD they may be wishing to "weed"

BTW - check your PMs

Oi !
I only talk loudly during Sisters gigs when certain individuals rudely insist on striking up a conversation with me whilst Von and the boys are on stage. I could 'ave told 'em to p*ss off but I ain't like that!

For me that's the charm of the boot - I'd rather have some random guys awful interpreation of how the sisters should present themselves than a shiny CDR. It's like having a s**t-art collection. Something naive and beautiful about boot art work.

The temptation has overcome me:

"Is this a boot?"

Nope, it's a CD.

It's a record, one of those big shiney black things

Easy mistake to make for a nipper like you. Especially now they've invented those new fangled 33rpm Cd's

still wouldn't waste my money on it though
