Yes, he was a legend for my too, not only as an actor in James Bond ... :( ...
and didn't he once own a house near Leeds/Bradford? At least, I've been told so several times by some folks, unasked for ... :lol: ...

89 of age is nice, though. RIP, Roger Moore ...and concolences to all his friends and family.

My old friends told me some stories about him in Heswall (on the Wirral) today, all good and innocent btw, so that is two Bond's that have a connection with a little town that I know too well

This just sucks, but "at least" he was 89 and had had (one hopes) a rich and full life. He was "my" Bond, because I grew up with his silly/hokey/sarcastic version of the ever-suave spy (vs. Connery et al). He was one of my first (juvenile) crushes, too, haha! Yikes. :oops: :roll: :urff: *Sigh* :(
