The Truth About Popular Music

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Although I found it interesting and some of his analysis spot on, lets be honest, this bloke is a complete c**t.

I have the opposite reaction. I don't agree with everything he says, but I **edit - watched more. not a fan.***

I've been thinking lately about how we used to "have to" listen to an entire album and how digital music has changed that, but I doubt I have any new thoughts to contribute there.

Anyway, there is still some decent pop out there, IMO. 21 Pilots, Chainsmokers and The Weekend (for very different reasons) are listenable.

Yep, that's the point. I did the same myself, liked it, agreed with a lot of it, did some research, watched a few more of his vid's and then ... c**t.
