GW32: Deadline 11:30 BST Saturday 31st March

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

As emilystrange has picked up an end of term lurgy, she has asked if i could get the ball rolling on this one.
How could I refuse? :D
There's a summary of the last GW (anyone remember?) here that serves as a handy reminder we all got our erses handed to us by the BB&S.
So let's have a look see what's up this weekend

So that's Palace back in the drop zone then :(

Anyway, here's your GW32 thread. Good luck everyone :)
Cheers.

Not only that, I'm on an inlaws visit 😉
Cheers, Steve. I doubt I could have typed that much, I'm sneezing so much.

Harry Kane on the bench today.

I have visions of Gareth Southgate getting on the blower to Poch right now & begging him not to play him just yet.
Cheers.

Sorry IGM team, forgot to change my team for this week, so still had the West Brom and Huddersfield duffers from the four match week playing, with Alli, De Gea and co on the bench. Grr.

Here we are with the round up, then - sorry that Steve and i have been stricken down with lurg. I still am a bit, so this will be short! Naturally all the predictions that I didn't make came absolutely true :D
Scores on the doors - BB&S won this GW and are still winning the lot. In fact, the GW places and overall are much the same:

The Yellow Jersey

belongs to Mish Mosh - now that it's Spring, it should probably have a wash and a waft about in some fresh air?
The Big Shout Out goes to The Clash Athletic for a great 78 points :notworthy:

In the H2H, the crown rests on AFC Tigers' majestic bonce

And finally, the H2H table:

The next GW is upon us! Kane is back, Aguero is iffy, Salah is as well. Man City only have to win against the quiet neighbours to take the title, so that we can all settle down and watch the rest of the PL in peace.

Ronaldo's goal, eh?

And RIP Ray Wilkins. Way too soon.

*snuffle snuffle* :(

Well, I think we're on course for a 600 point victory this week :?
Or maybe not.....
New GW thread is now open & the spring sunshine is blazing down on the pitch :)
Cheers.

for the record next GW is a double for the following teams: Leicester, Chelsea, Brighton, Bournemouth, Spurs, Burnley, Southampton and the Mancs (Utd flavour). as i did particularly badly in the last double GW -mainly due to knowing nothing about it- i have decided that now would be a good time to use my "Free Hit" thingummy, and therefore every player in the EastMidsWhizzkids next GW will be playing twice. 8)

with regard to the "free hit" : i have just made 2 transfers , then activated my FH, THEN confirmed transfers and FH activation. will the game know that those 2 transfers were regular transfers or will it assume they were made under the FH thus cancelling them after this GW? :?:

It should assume you made them under the FH chip.
A thing to also remember when playing your FH chip is that you can only see that team when you choose the points tab. If you choose the my team tab you'll see the previous iteration of your team (ie, the one it'll revert to for the next GW).
The help section on the site isn't very clear on the FH chip. It sort of implies that your team reverts at the next deadline. If that were the case, then you'd have no chance to make transfers for that week.
I checked when we had the 4 match GW & you can make your regular transfers before the next deadline & when the team reverts it will reflect your new transfers.
Cheers.
