She’s a smart cookie with discerning taste, so obviously it’s a NO. 🤷‍♂️emilystrange wrote:can you ask her yes or no to YCBTO?

And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Bloody 'ell - they let it breed?!
Congrats, Mr. n'Mrs. Quiff! I fancy that t-shirt, though (Ripley's, not yours) - can you post a bigger picture of it so's I can see what's written on it? I can make out "bunny" and "bear"(?), but a bigger pic would be useful. How fitting that she should have been born at 10pm, since "They mostly come at night. Mostly."
Planning on spending the rest of the evening looking for a onesie that has "Girls on Coke & Girls on Speed" on the back of it because You Should Start As You Mean To Go On, and Ripley Quiffly needs to set her stamp on the entry class at Miss Gently's Nursery For Tiny Tots.

@ EB: Bunny, bear and hugs.
😂
Thanks guys.
Music-wise, she seems to teaponsnoarycyoarky well to James, Ministry and Classic FM. So a pretty eclectic selection, much like her dear old pa 😎

My 4 year old took to James at an early age, and also has a growing fascination with Kiss (the band, not the radio station). What era Ministry have you gone for?

An excellent choice - if Quiffly plays his cards right he can convince the wean that MR stands for "My Ripley" until she's at least 5 years old!czuczu wrote:

Congratulations to you and your family! She is indeed perfect and I like the name a lot.
For lullabys, I recommend After Hours. (I can’t count how many times I drove around town playing that, willing my kids to fall asleep.)

This is simply wonderful news. Congratulations!
