RIP Barry Cryer

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. A legend has passed away who I was lucky enough to see at Leicester Square Theatre last August for the recording of Richard Herring's podcast.
There can't have been more than fifty there and it felt like a privilege at the time, now even more so.

I didn't know he existed, but yes, he was clearly brilliant ... :lol: ... so, RIP and condolences to the many and the close who definitely miss him.

They would always interview Barry Cryer on television whenever any famous old school comic died. The news report I saw about his sad demise featured no one. Sad.
