Yaay! Saturday is nearly here! No lunchtime KO this week but there is a 7pm Sunday one. Weird. I will be watching with my CROWN on my head. Needs a few more diamonds imo but I'll take what I can get
One manager missing for real, a couple MIA, some flying and one has the confidence of the owners. Your guesses are probably all valid!
Fixtures:
Saturday 8 October 2022
Bournemouth 15:00 Leicester Leicester off the mark with some crackers by Maddison. All they need is for Vardy to forget the legal bills and get going.
Chelsea 15:00 Wolves Now look, Wolves are not my team, but I was on those terraces before I was born and I am NOT HAPPY. A Chelsea fixture is not ideal.
Man City 15:00 Southampton You just fear for whomever is facing Haaland. Whole teams of people. You know he's not playing in the World Cup and will be completely rested in January?
Newcastle 15:00 Brentford Might be a tight one. Or a rout. Not in between.
Brighton 17:30 Spurs It's about time Son scored, please.
UK - Sky Sports
Sunday 9 October 2022
Crystal Palace 14:00 Leeds A cracking game to start your Sunday!
UK - Sky Sports
West Ham 14:00 Fulham This could be another fizzer. I hope so. Not that it's the telly, mind.
Arsenal 16:30 Liverpool Hmm. I have stakes on both sides. Salah needs to put his lucky boots on.
UK - Sky Sports
Everton 19:00 Man Utd If Utd lose this one, Fergie will be back.
UK - BT Sport
Monday 10 October 2022
Nott'm Forest 20:00 Aston Villa Forest have another Midlands club to deal with. Bottom of the table looking cosy?
UK - Sky Sports
Let's go then! Check teams, check snacks, check sofa status. Hope for the best. IGM are catching up a bit!

It explains how Haaland's steady stream of goals is spoiling the weekends of "hardworking people" up and down the country. "Erling Haaland is a serious problem," the petition's description reads. "He shows up out of the blue, and consistently ruins the weekends of the hardworking people of this great nation."
snip
In a sobering message, the petition calls for action and warns that Haaland has become "a matter of national security". The description concludes: "Now is the time to take action. It was all fun and games at the start, but it is now becoming a matter of national security."

Catch up time! Steve forgot to send me the tables
Bournemouth 2-1 Leicester Another loss for Leicester. How long can they carry on, do you think?
Chelsea 3 -0 Wolves No manager, no win. Pusilic, Havertz and Broja had a go today, with Mount chucking a couple of assists.
Man City 4-0 Southampton HAALAND ONLY GOT ONE!!! Foden and Cancelo the stars today. Do they really need him?
Newcastle 5-1 Brentford Well, that was slightly unexpected. Was pretty exciting!
Brighton 0-1 Spurs HARRY KANE! An assist for Son, which is a bit closer, I guess
Crystal Palace 2-1 Leeds Eze's was a cracker!
West Ham 3-1 Fulham Fulham a bit taken apart - 5 saves from Leno!
Arsenal 3-2 Liverpool This was quite a game. Saka to the forefront, Darwin on the take, Martinelli in form and Jota doing the biz. Still not vintage Liverpool but better against the League leaders.
Everton 1-2 Man Utd Goodness, Man U winning, though it was Everton. Ronaldo popping up for a change.
Nott'm Forest 1-1 Aston Villa Not sure this helps anyone!
