Smurphs in Leeds - July 1st and 2nd

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

So how crap am i.

To be honest i guess anyone who cares already knows but we are playing next Saturday and next Sunday (1st & 2nd) at The Libray in Leeds for Carpe. The first time ever they have put anyone onf for 2 in a row i think - so we are hitting that school night too!

Online tickets for Saturday were sold out a bit back but there will be a few on the door for strategic holdbacks / early starters etc - Cash Only.

Two fairly different sets from us (so much so that for the first time in years im actually quite nervous!!!!) a couple we have never done before....... a couple we have done rarely etc.

So if you are inclined please incline.

Smoke, Floods and Stolen Goods (Purple funk free zone)
Paddy
Still playing guitar - sometimes weird shaped ones.

And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

A bit slow on this, but having never seen them before i was a touch dubious but as it turned out wrongly so..

Brilliant over both nights and the chance to hear favourites we're not going to get from the real thing.

Great shows, recommended and thank you.
