It's only 21 degrees C here today, it was 35 on Sunday, and the week ahead looks a bit chilly too:

Thanks for the offer, but if I go outside I might get all sweaty, it's kinda humid today (which is unusual in these parts). I'm sure the Aussies on this board are having much better weather than me.CorpPunk wrote:You! Outside! NOW!hallucienate wrote:I feel for you Sinny.

Hehehe! Actually, you should see my winter coat - it *looks* like a duvet!d00mw0lf wrote:wear a duvet - start a new fashion!
Not quite sure if the Slumberland Goth look will catch on but worth a shot. With a nailgun?d00mw0lf wrote: i plan on not only wearing a duvet, but also a mattress and pillows.
yeah, nail the duvet on so i can walk round and leave my hands free for reading.Johnny Boy wrote:Not quite sure if the Slumberland Goth look will catch on but worth a shot. With a nailgun?d00mw0lf wrote: i plan on not only wearing a duvet, but also a mattress and pillows.
Yeah, right - your "winter" temperatures tend to hover around 40F, right?RicheyJames wrote:well i hate to be contrary (no, really, i do), but i LOVE winter. i could go on forever but the most important reason is that i get to wear my ridiculously expensive cashmere overcoat everyday. and we get lots of fog. and it's another excuse to just sit in the pub all day. and there's less overweight women exposing their flabby midriffs to the world. and the temperature in our non-air-conditioned office is (almost) bearable. and...well, like i said, there's lots of reasons.
Er, me. Now I'm getting scared.d00mw0lf wrote:yeah, nail the duvet on so i can walk round and leave my hands free for reading.Johnny Boy wrote:Not quite sure if the Slumberland Goth look will catch on but worth a shot. who hasn't dreamed of walking round wearing their bed and reading?

* Hides and peeks out from duvet nailed to his back *
oooh, farenheit. how quaint! on a good day we go sub-zero c which is 32f if my memory serves. believe me though i'd love to live somewhere that has real winters. only problem is most of those kind of places seem to go to the other extreme in summer which i would hate. ho hum, guess i'll have to stick to good old blighty and our (mostly) sensible weather...SINsister wrote:Yeah, right - your "winter" temperatures tend to hover around 40F, right?
What is it? Gregor Mackintosh playing the broomstick?d00mw0lf wrote:oh, and LOVE the new avatar BP!
