I bought a copy from the guy a couple of weeks ago, and it's definatly not factory pressed.
The label is some kind of (yellow and black) transfer, mine showed some signs of peeling on the bumpy bit (technical jargon!) between the playing surface and the centre hole.
It's a straight copy of Wake, no sign of shot which would have been a nice addition.
Some of the footage seems different to my version of Wake (less strobe effects & negative imaging), so I'm guessing it's a rip of the Channel 5 version.

virtually none of the boot items they sell are factory pressed, they had a few sisters in a few months back which were 'legit' but most are cdr copies with decently printed artwork. He seems to get the same dvds as you find on alot of dodgy market stalls - mainly german TV - Rock Am Ring and similar - I noticed hes started to shrink wrap them to make them look a bit more authentic.
as for silver discs - you can now get silver cdr's and dvds which almost look like the real thing - if you put the disc in Nero theres a tool embedded in it which will give you the makers ID, dye type etc. Anything with a dye type forinstance is a home job.

merrion street, opposite brannigans... sandwiched in, next to a dodgy greasy-spoon cafe and a sewing machine shop
watched my copy last nigth and its rather spiffing... probably as good as the "wake+" dvd-r thats doing the rounds at the moment, but the advantage of this one for me is that it works in my dvd player. wake+ didnt
