THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. You see it was just so easy before...I could just plonk stuff anywhere and not many of you minded!

ANYWAY, have just been watching 'The Pop Years' on Sky One...1987...fleeting glimpse of the Jim Steinman (I'm sure there's a few more n's in there) Sisters collaberation that is "This Corrosion" anyway oracle of all things popular and wise Mr Gary Davies (woo hoo Gary Davies etc),informed us that infact Andrew Eldritch despite the gothic, mean, black leather gear blah blah...was really a nice bloke! Can any one else confirm this?

Yes I have met him like so many others have elswhere in the world.
I found him very charming and 95% of me would say he is very genuine bloke.
But I never saw into eyes.As the saying goes" the eyes are the window of the soul"or summit like that!

If you ask nicely our very own Ez might give you/us an in depth and I would say accurate analysis of the Eldritch psyche.
