Anaconda 7"

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

<Atrocious French Accent>Well, I'll ask him, but I don't think he'll be very keen. He's already got one, you see?</Atrocious French Accent>

Sorry, I couldn't resist it.

I found mine in Jumbo Records in the St John's Centre, Leeds, for the princely sum of £1.99 IIRC. That was many moons ago though.

Heh, I shoplifted that from the old Indie shop we had in town a few years back. I felt bad.

Then I discovered P2P programs on the interweb thingy... :innocent:

Well, I bought mine when Jumbo was still in the Merrion Centre, so there! But I actually found Anaconda in a large record shop in the centre of Manchester while killing time waiting for a girlfriend in 1984/85. When I got back to Leeds, some joker told me it was their long lost first single. Whooppee thought me.

Mine must be a reissue, I didn't purchase it till about 1987 from Sleeves, a most excellent record shop in Falkirk, for all of 99p new.

I got mine along with the Alice 7" in Selectadisc in London for 50p each about 7 or 8 years ago. I guess they are reprints as well.

I'd imagine mine's probably a reprint too.

Oh Martin. It's all relative of course. I still love it despite it being an awfully quiet sound. If I didn't have 2 I wouldn't part with it for the world. You cheeky fellow.
