went to an unsigned band night at a club called Satan's Hollow in Manchester on Sunday. 7 bands played, some good, some bad. so what? You might ask.
Well, each band was introduced by a rather camp goth woman dressed in full comedy gothic 'vampire' garb, and brandishing a whip. She said her name was Rosie something-or-other.
Anyway, after the gig, as me and my posse staggered out into the streets, my mate, whose a bit of a goth authority, told me that the woman used to be in the March Violets.
I dunno much about the MVs except the Sisters connection, I just thought some of you might find it interesting that one of their original members has turned up hosting rock nights in scumchester. she certainly looked about the right age- late 30s.
BTW, the lady in the photo MIGHT NOT BE Rosie Garland- it could be her replacement, Cleo. Hey, don't shoot me etc.
