In no particular order:

Dominion, Lucretia, Nine while nine, Lights, Floorshow, Heartland, Ribbons, Summer (Mera Luna bootleg version), Some Kind of Stranger, 1959.

This week, at least. Honorable mentions to Jolene, On The Wire and Train.

That's a great list, Andymackem. I would say Lucretia, Nine While Nine, Lights, Floorshow, Ribbons, We are the Same Suzanne, Some Kind of Stranger, On the Wire, Driven Like the Snow and Adrenochrome. There, that's exactly ten slices of perfection.

6)Flood1
7)Blood money
8)Adrenochrome
9)snub nose

1-8 are great choice(s)!

I'd add in no particular order of importance: I Was Wrong (probably not liked by many), Flood II, Body Electric (original version, don't like the 84 version much), Knocking On Heaven's Door RAH version, and naturally the Reptile House EP as a whole is still my favourite! :D

I'm new here. So, I figured, this would be a good post to start off with.

In no particular order

afterhours
poison door
nine while nine
fix
anaconda
lucretia
lights
walk away
driven like the snow
ribbons

Granted, this is highly unaccurate. I just picked the first favorite 10 that came to mind.

Alice

Lights

Body Electric 84
Marian
Amphetamine Logic
Some Kind Of Stranger
Dominion/ Mother Russia
Lucretia
This Corrosion
Something Fast

The rest are OK, but I wouldn't spend too much time defending them in an argument.

it was the first song from the sisters I heard, and for years it was the only one I liked.
when I finaly started to listen to the records I forgot about it and I don't like comparing it to the other songs. they have a difrent Vibe.
and something I think alot of other heartlanders may feel as well, it is (exept for alice) the only SoM song what gets played over here (party's and on the radio ) over the years it has builld up a reputation.
I like the song, not the reputation. if you unerstand what I try to say.

Heartland
FALAA
Ribbons
Temple of Love (Touched version)
Floorshow
This Corrosion
Adrenochrome
Flood 2
Torch
Under the Gun (I actually only like the 2nd half of that song, when Eldritch really gets going)

Ok, so that's 12. I couldn't narrow it down to 10. Valentine almost made it in there.

I can't be arsed with a long list - because it's practically all of them - but at the moment Floorshow is sexy Von at his sexiest. It'll be different tomorrow, maybe.

i hear you sister. i hear you.

i really should get back downstairs and finishing watching that wake dvd... at least its a dvd on pause and not a vhs so the tape isn't goign to stretch

but even just sat here at the keyboard i've now decided that SKOS/comfortably numb, the 12" of lucretia, and the live cover of "bei mir bist du schone" are the best thing since sliced bread

*sigh*

just toooooo many good songs :0
