THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Out of curiousity how many of your on here have been/going to the Sisters festivals this summer?
Really I just can't be bothered with all the travelling and
sitting in little circles making daisy chains!
Hope you all have a pleasant weekend!

Can't afford it this year. "sniff!"
Perhaps if the DVD is released this year Von will deign to play some dates in our "derelict offshore spiv nation.
If I wasn't so bad at languages I'd relocate to the Mainland.
This thread should probably be moved to the Sisters Chat forum.

When it comes to cheap though.... we are that indeed ! I cant even afford full length jeans to play in
As for being better than the real thing.... i think we do a fair job with a lot smaller setup and a lot less talent !!!!!!
Paddy.
Still playing guitar - sometimes weird shaped ones.

Just back from Bex... (combined it with a holliday in Switserland)
brilliant gig, allthough it seems odd to see nobody sitting/lying in the grass but sitting on tables and chairs, drinking way to expensive beers
Will go also to St-Vith.
Mera Luna is still in debate...
But hey, we belgians can't complain, can we? I've seen them three times last year and it took my only one hour driving to each concert
see you there
nostalgy ain't what it used to be

You bet, WimmNess!
Belgium seems to have a special place in Von's heart.
Or the other way around...

what's about the rumour we could vote them to come to Pukkelpop this year also?
Or would that be toooo much
Let's see (in the last few years) we had:
Dour
Pukkelpop (2x)
Ternat
Deinze
Eurorck Hasselt
Brussels
this can't be a coincidence. If you divide the numer of gigs inhere by the square miles of Belgium, you'll get the highest ratio around...
Ohoh, did I provoke a new immigration wave???
