SO DARK ALL OVER YORKSHIRE
Heartland's 3rd Birthday Weekender: 4th, 5th & 6th February 2005

You are cordially invited to join us in the forthcoming celebrations of Heartland's 3rd Birthday.

We'd like to say that the forum wouldn't have been the same without you, but that would be a lie. It would have. Probably better in fact.

Furthermore, we were going to keep it low-key and only invite the nicer ones amongst you, but then we realised it would be a very small, intimate affair, so it's open house. Feel free to bring your good self and a friend, a partner, a pet gimp, whatever. Just be there.

No excuses this time. Some of you take this "do" thing far too lightly for our liking.

The weekend's festivities run accordingly:
  • Friday 4th Feb 2005: "Friday Flock" 1st Birthday @ The Phono, Leeds (9pm - 2am, £3 before 11, £4 after)
  • Saturday 5th Feb 2005: "Heartland" 3rd Birthday @ The George, Leeds (8pm - 1am, £2.50 on the door)
  • Sunday 6th Feb 2005: The Sisters of Murphy @ The Bassment, Leeds (7pm - 11pm, £3 on the door)
More to follow, including details of how to buy special weekend passes for a paltry £7.

Feel free to register your interest here:
http://www.netgoth.org.uk/events/?events=list&id=9065

And see the Black Sheep "weekender" micro-site for further details:

Bit of a shame that the Saturday event clashes with Rhombus' gig in Bradford. :? Never mind.

NOT!

It's one thing to be stupid enuff to come all the way to Leeds from Belgica (cfr. last year :D),
but it's completely another thing to give my Birthday Party in a dodgy goff cellar with ZimmerBreiten Teppich on the floor, drinking lousy, once-has-been Belgian beer whilst sniffing the lovely stench of "Olde Git "armpits and sweat-drenched Salvation/Merry Thoughts tees

BTW, you promised you would do the thing in Belgium next time! :(

Have a nice one anyway! ;D

There's a lovely lady from Bradford Library by the name of Ellie - if you get her there then count me in.

good good good ;D

of course it would be just peachy if y'all could make the entire weekend too! phono paul has been a huge help in getting stuff sorted for this and for the previous HL affairs, and it would be nice if we could repay the favour by packing out his club with people requesting sisters records ;) :innocent:

the friday at the phono promises to be a good night - the flocks are always pretty special and this should have a good party atmosphere.

and the sunday is the sunday is the sunday is the smurphs. what can you say. you know it makes sense. smoke, floods, stolen whatsits and some damn groovy tunes. go on, book the next day off school now while you can ;)

and i'll be there 8)

and to all you people out there who just think of yourself as traders - you're invited too. i promise you'll like the music ;)

Oh bollox!

Just replied to your pm in 'theotherplace' and said - as long as it's not before the 8th and 9th of Feb, I'll be there...

BAWWWWWL

Our school is being OfSted-ed on those two days and I really really CAN'T spare that weekend, we're in enough deep doo-doo without me gadding about.
