Could some kind soul post a complete list of remixes / production jobs for other artists that Von has worked on in the many years that he has spent busily not releasing Sisters records?

I only know of:

Die Krupps - Fatherland
Kastrierte Philosophen - Toilet Queen

I've only heard the first one, and I don't intend to get the second. ;)

Sarah Brightman - How Can Heaven Love Me?

He only did the german backing vocals on this track, so not strictly part of the remix/production line!

Of course you have the early March Violets and Salvation records that he produced as well.

Aw shucks...

Thanks for making me feel so welcome folks...

Knew about early March Violets + Salvation production jobs (ta though) and have copies of the Die Krupps + Kastrierte Philosophen stuff, but am v grateful for the info on the Sarah Brightman + Gary Moore vocal jobs...

Reason that I asked my original question is that I have read allusions to the fact that AE has actually worked on a number of remixes for German techno acts in the time that SOM have been quiet and wondered whether I'd missed owt?

Suppose you could include the SSV album in this list.

I don't know... they weren't really "Eldritch remixes", strictly speaking, he was guest vocaling on them.

Under The Gun, if he took that from Two Worlds Apart, and edited it, then that might be.

Or Giving Ground, if he edited the lyrics on the Gift version from the RSV.

By the way, whereabouts (ie.on which album) do I find the version of the Sarah Brightman - 'How Can Heaven Love Me?' track complete with the Eldritch mumbling?

There seem to be a few versions flying about and don't want to squander cash by mistake on the wrong version! (Gotta be worth a giggle though)...

It's on an album called The Fly.

Don't people know how to use Google? :roll: :wink:

Only problem with the SB discography is that it doesn't tell the whole story - there are a few different versions of that track listed on various websites. Have spotted;

How Can Heaven Love Me - video version
How Can Heaven Love Me - PeCh remix

I have also seen the following albums advertised;

Fly (CD re-release with Chris Thompson credited with ALL backing vocals - inc the Eldritch lines)
Fly II (inc remix of the track)

I was just keen for somebody that actually owned a copy of the correct version of the track to help me out before I ended up with a whole Eldritch-less album of sub-operatic rubbish...

Hoe the hell did he get involved with this album anyway? I would not have thought that there was a mutual appreciation society involved...

Ta for the help CellThree... :)

I would just go for the main Fly album then. Tbh, it's not really worth it, its not a great song to start with. I'm uploading the MP3 I have it now, link to follow...
