About six years ago the number one British women's tennis player was a girl called Sam Smith. She looked exactly the same as Henman.

Never took him seriously after that.

Mind, I suspect a neutered kitten could probably challenge for the honour of Britain's leading women's tennis player.

You have no idea, my darling. :von:

It seems this name is incontrovertibly linked to the dregs of humanity...
Cheers Henman, another one to rack up for the Defeat Team.

Three at once. Hard to match that. But I'm game if you are.

I'd done that  Must be too subtle, although a whole volley of them in one sentence is the objective.

Kinda weird, considering you peeps should be ace in the English language and all have a clear advantage over me, who has only some continental grip on the language. However, I expect this posting to be a break point in the thread.

Then again, if you deuce to continue, I warn you beforehand: I'll drive you nuts and slice you to pieces.

I will remain the one and only hot dog of the HeartLand umpire!

Oh my. :innocent:

Surely players using on-line dictionaries are guilty of a fault? Possibly even a code violation. It'll take a backhander to keep me quiet.
