In a recent Classic Rock mag it had a good write-up on Fibbers rock night on a saturday night, 'BLACKOUT'
Anyone go? Is it any good?

Any info would be appreciated...

It's o.k. I guess. They tend to play a mix of old and new rawk.
I go there sometimes 'cause it's the only place in York that stays open 'til 2am and serves real ale.

cheers, we're going sat 30th july to York for a night out. is it the best place for 3 rock chicks and me to end the night?

It's deffo the best place to end the night as it won't be full of chavs & townies.

Another 'alternative' venue in York is Cert 18 (my local) - they're usually open 'til midnight on weekends and have bands on and stuff. Mr Robochrist is playing there on 30th June! :)
