Photo gallery copyright popups

For you to give feedback to the Heartland moderators. Wish lists, fault reports, etc. You may get an answer, you may not. As in all things, it largely depends on how nicely you ask the people in charge... You're welcome.

Uhm, is it really necessary to have two windows telling you about copyright pop up every time someone clicks the middle or left button in the gallery? This is extra annoying for people like me, who use the middle button to scroll, and the right one to navigate with mouse gestures.

Also, there is no copyright notice whenever you download an image using the download button. Maybe that button watermarks the images for easy tracking if found used improperly.

consider also that none of the pics can to has the HL copyright as the cr is always of the photograph and not of who have/show the pic

built in to teh gallery software i'm afraid. to stop you right-clicking and grabbing the image that way. forcing you to use the download option helps the tracking how many people have grabbed copies.

in theory. dead easy to circumvent though.

the gallery software was originall.y designed for amatuer photographers to show off their photos. thus the ability to count people's downloads is useful.

never known anyone having issues with it before to be honest, but as its not something i'm arsed about i/m happy to turn the "feature" off :)
