I'm in for this one. Loved the venue when I saw Calexico there in ancient times. Ticket came to 48 Euros, but best to order before my s**t thick country's currency collapses.

Overreacting to the slightest push and elbowing back in response (never mind that the person they're hitting was pushed by the crowd in the first place...) I totally understand that some people might not want to be in...

A proper belter. This and Amsterdam were massively enjoyable. Hamburg and Dublin a bit more reserved crowd wise. Loved the city and will certainly be back for bands and jollity as soon as I can.

the two SA gents I first met at Kentish Town on the Event Horizon dates were from "Out in the sticks" (their description) to be honest it's a bit long ago to remember. They were a pair of enormously large Bearded chaps, quite strongly accented, and unduly horrified by British kebabs as I r...

Sorry to revitalise an oldish thread, but scanning the Leeds forum jobby linked from here I noticed John Keenan added: "Yes, Futurama 3 was filmed, some great footage of Simple Minds, Gang of 4, Bauhaus and early Sisters. Unfortunately the company I hired was very dodgy and there were lots of p...

Aye, the two South African gents have been around for a while, lots of KT Forum shows (which are starting to blend into one in my head). When drawing any statistical conclusions from the above data, remember that a great many of the most gigged/longest travelled folk have nowt to do with Sissies-rel...

Age: 34 5 Tunes: Driven Like The Snow, I was wrong, Nine-while-Nine, Lights, and Under the Gun. Album: Floodland Line-up. Live Mr E/Dok/Pearson/Starling. Recorded Mr E+Microchip helpers. The Sisters have always had decent supports. La Costa Rasa, Cubanate, Sona Fariq, Tin Star, Dave Thomas, Oceansize and The Ivories. What was great about Sona Fariq was how they worked the crowd up. First night i wasn't that interested but by the third night they were superb, so good i went to see t...

Oddly, what Eldo and Mr. Marx seem to consider the production mistakes: The hollow sound, that clinical coldness, and the thwappyness tend to be exactly the elements dodgy crimpers'n'lacy-cuffs beggars spent years trying to ape. It's so ingrained in my head as an album; I can't really imagine what i...

Contrary to popular belief the band can actually be seen and heard from a position at the back. I think nearly every Sisters gig that i've seen over the last 20 years has had a sizeable moshing/bouncing etc. I always used to stay well away but once you get to know everybody it's fine. Except New York where everyone stood like statues. There were pockets of resistance, apart from me and my oth...

...we have the slight problem that if our paramount leader doesn't see a suitable amount of the bouncing/moshing/pyramidadoodling that many seem to object to, he gets a right cob on, beggars off into the smoke and we see/hear hyde nor hair of him for the rest of the gig.
