Bank Holiday? Bollox................

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Use SSH and do it from home. I've even got a Bittorrent session running on my Linux desktop at work. Been on holiday for 6 days and still have managed some decent downloads. :P

remember to type in "rm httpd.conf" once you're done and before you've done a back-up :innocent:

i do use ssh.....but the bastard i'm working on required serial connection to boot...

normally ssh and a rather fine java vpn mean i can work from anywhere, but for today, stuck in the office with the aircon on full and the music on full!

hey, it sure beats the traffic riots that come with every bank holiday!

Could be worse. You could be doing such sad f**ker things to your own system out of choice while everyone else is outside soaking up the Sun :innocent:

No holiday here in Belgium too (got loads of schoolwork ahead), though I'll be enjoying a very long weekend from wednesday on 8)...

Just work through the day, and you'll be sure to get revenge afterwards

Is it of any comfort to you people (especially Dave), that our bank holiday, which always is on 1st May and nobody has to work, fell on Sunday this year? :urff:

Speaking as a very long-term, very devoted fan, I thought it was absolutely beautiful.
I wasn't too sure about it, but it's actually really amazingly good. Just try to remember that just because the film isn't identical to the t.v. show or book or radio show, that's not really a bad thing. The book was different to the radio show, the tv show was different to the book, and the film is different to the lot of them - HHGTTG just keeps evolveing.

there's plenty of loving tributes to previous versions (Won't go into that in case of spoilers - but if you wanna be geeky, there are some great ones to look out for!)

It's very Douglas...

;D Good. I've been debating whether or not to bother. I wasn't sure whether it would be Douglas enough.

It's not due out here for a month or more :( I may have to resort to downloading a crappy cam version from a torrent site :(
