Tambourine, and pretty nifty with the 'on' button on the old dry ice machine.
I've got guitars too, but I think it'd stretch reality beyond even my grasp to suggest I 'played' them. 'Played with' is fine.

What I really need is a musical instrument I can just pick up and play, without having to go to the trouble of learning.

The pianner/keyboards. Self taught, but that doesn't mean I can only play "chopsticks"...
Used to play the clarinet, boy was that s**t.
Also got a hammered dulcimer (made by my grandfather hunners and hunners of years ago), like this woman...
