What do you play then?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Tambourine, and pretty nifty with the 'on' button on the old dry ice machine.

I've got guitars too, but I think it'd stretch reality beyond even my grasp to suggest I 'played' them. 'Played with' is fine.

I play the CD player a lot. Once tried to learn the guitar and got a lesson in humility.

I'm quite good at that too, but I've gone deeper and am learning to play they pick-up now ;D

Apart from that I only pluck my nose while listening

(And I do have a gee-tar, but I never took the effort to actually learn to play it, I was absolute rubbish at it the few times I tried  )

What I really need is a musical instrument I can just pick up and play, without having to go to the trouble of learning.

Can I recommend to you the lovely triangle? ;D

At least that was the only instrument that my music teacher in school trusted me to play. :|

Maureen Tucker used to stand to play drums for the Velvet Underground.

The pianner/keyboards. Self taught, but that doesn't mean I can only play "chopsticks"... :innocent:

Used to play the clarinet, boy was that s**t.

Also got a hammered dulcimer (made by my grandfather hunners and hunners of years ago), like this woman...
