Err Why? 625 Lines is Standard for UK pal at a refresh rate of 50Hz (25 fps) where as NTSC is 525 Lines at 60 HZ (30 fps)

...just recognized that little mistake on the label (common vhs can't fit more than ~250 lines). Sorry - maybe I spent too much time in video editing stuff ;D

you are talking about resolution, rather than the default standard which is what would be written on the side of a box, and Yes I play with Digi Beta, DVCam, UMatic, Beta Sp all the time in my job to :)

well, those cassettes could be special_TV_VHS_tapes, holding more lines than usual VHS

Beside that, I don't know any tv/media standards without restrictions.

They were sold from a certain Leeds shop for £10 each. I suspect the guy made them himself. The More video contained the More video 4 times (the 3rd version had a dropout in the middle :lol: ).
