I've looked too, in the past, and found nothing of note unfortunately.
Yer'd think there'd be something out there for a band like that!!

i dont know as much about them as the sisters though - lars, you wanna be an admin on it?
is there a demand? is there a jd/no mailing list that you could ask to gauge interest?

While you're waiting for the next one to arrive....ryan_w_0000 wrote:yeah, should be both new order and joy division
i imagine that at least two thirds of sisters fans are either joy div or new order fans.

Was just gonna mention that one QB!!! I've been hanging around there quite a bit, they have some decent folks who won't be rude to newbies, and the discussion does cover a lot of JD stuff as well. Lots of stuff about bootlegs, MP3s (which NO have a considerably more laid-back attitude towards than the Sisters), all the good stuff basically. Some of the humour can get pretty surreal at times too, which is always a good sign.
You may be interested to learn that some of the members are getting together to do their own "NewOrderOnline" tribute album, so there's quite a bit of activity in terms of unusual/interesting cover versions being made available.
Oh yeh - some of the people on it are, shall we say, close to the band, so you can expect a few tidbits of news from time to time as well.
Main thing to look out for is that it can be slow as hell.

is it worth me doing one then? if that one is as good as you say, is obviously very popular, and has (semi)official input?
would another one serve any purpose?

It even looks quite nice. Not quite up to the minimalist majesty of our own heartland, but still a damn sight better than other places I've been.

How about expanding the idea to a board about Factory records? You'd even get a FAC no. for it Quiff!Quiff Boy wrote:so, are people still interested in this then?
