THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Alleh 't amusement... Landgraaf het land van Pinkpop toch? De sisters zouden daar eens moeten komen
Sisters and Pinkpop? It ain't gonna happen ...
The guy who runs that circus (Jan Smeets) doesn't choose "good" bands, he chooses "commercial" bands. Can't really blame him though ...
John Peel:
In Nederland werd een podium op Pinkpop 2005 naar hem vernoemd. (Van 1978 t/m 1986 was Peel presentator van Pinkpop) ==> John Peel wasn't he that man that forced the breaktrough for the Sisters? He was linked to Pinkpop???

In one of the interviews (the polish I believe) Andrew says something that he wishes that there were guitars that were capable of tuning themselves. The reason for him was that he could play the setlist even faster without having to wait for the guitarists to tune the guitars in between songs.

If he would play his setlists faster than "usual fast" there would be no noticeable breaks between the songs - thatslikewritingwithoutanyspacebetweenthewords^^
Now the guitar thing is settled i guess then next thing on eldritch' wish-list would be a roborecord. that is a record which composes and records itself and than puts itself out "with a bit of a muscle" automatically
