From the 1980-1985, I am aware of some ten unreleased songs, some of which were recorded (I think) during the Black October/FALAA sessions. So I gather that these songs were - at some time - meant to be included in FALAA:
- Dance on glass (to become Black planet)
- Red skies disappear (to become Rock and a hard place)
- Serpent's kiss (> The Msision)
- Garden of delight (> The Msision)
Other demos from the same period not to be included would be:
- Wide receiver (Eldritch's guitar lesson practice)
- Emma (no cover on an album)
- Knockin' on heaven's door (no cover on an album)
Older demos that precede the FALAA era, and excluding cover versions:
- Driver
- Some untitled instrumental
- Burn alternative lyrics
- Where spirits fly
- Good things
So:
- Did I miss any unreleased stuff from 80-85, apart from some changed lyrics such as for Walk away?
- Were Serpent's kiss and Garden of delight meant for FALAA or for Left on...?
- I once read something on songs written for Left on msision and revenge, but can't find the thread. Anyone?

According to Wayne's sleevenotes on the First Chapter reissue, Wake can be added to the list of FALAA rejects too. Presumably an instrumental version, though.
There's also Torch, which dates from the "Left on..." era, but it's not really unreleased, is it?

Also, there was never any reason to suspect that either existed before they were released. Particularly in the case of Never Land: we'd speculated for sure, but all evidence (and some fairly strong denials from Von) indicated that there was no such animal. True, we had the demo, but so far as the real thing with the extra lyrics was concerned, it was a total bolt from the blue.

BB is interesting. There is an early demo of it (sans-whoops) alright, so it's certainly a very early Mish track, but I'll have to dig out my copy of First Chapter to see if there's any indication of it's origins.

Could be true, although the title suggets it's a reaction to the split-up. Well, it is in Dutch (to burn your bridges = breaking with your past).
