Damage Done on Ebay

Of these, many have surely disappeared over time. The rarer copies have the labels on the correct side, i.e., the head+star side plays Damage Done, while the "text" side plays Watch and Home of the Hitmen. Most copies play reverse labels (mine does). There was also a version that came with a small flyer inserted into it when Merciful Release had a stock sale (82? 83?) to try and sell off the remaining copies which no one cared enough to buy upon release.
I always understood that it was Rough Trade which promoted it again in 1982, after Body Electric came out, and that they put the flyer in with it. I've never heard of half the stock being destroyed - surely if they were handed to RT that wouldn't have happened?

There are supposed to be 1,000 of the Jap 're-pressing' IFAIK.
Is this the place I used to know as Fatherland?

You're right, it was RT that did the stocksale. My mistake. I've got a copy of the flyer at home, I'll check to see what it says. I think you;re right about the Jap bootleg's press run: 1000. I'll check to see where I got the story of the destruction of half the stock. It's as true as any other story I've read about these kind of things, I guess... true if the writer knew his facts, false otherwise, y'know.
