You never know. He/she could have persuaded AE to sit down and sign all of those for an hour or so. Including the bootleg. I don't imagine for a moment that Von would have told him to f*** off.
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.

I don't think these are necessarily fake. I've seen signed bootlegs before for instance.

The Life booklet isn't official. Is it?

I'm not sure the signatures are fake. Notice I'm not saying they're definitely genuine...

This was when Italy wasn't signatory to the trades marks/copyright acts (or at least didn't enforce them particularly) wasn't it? So really this isn't officially sanctioned and so they are unofficial - after all they include reprints of press articles and have two live tracks, which would hardly be allowed by AE et al.
Is this the place I used to know as Fatherland?

All the Paolazzograssi (spelling? ) releases were Italian, under the same principle, yes?

No this not correctly 100%, the 2 songs was 2 cover version more old than 15 years so feel free of royality. Sure not autorized by Eldritch (which items was autorized by Eldritch ?) but the 2 songs was deposited to Siae and the single was given free to the booklet as italian law states.
It must considered as free single enclosed in a regular music magazine, not a bootleg.

Agreed on both points though I must say they look too different from the ones I have seen. So my first reaction is fake indeed my second thought is that I am not quite sure.
I am quite sure he has signed with Andrew in the past. I have one
A. Eldritch and an Andrew Eldritch.

No, copyright lasts much longer than that! Copyright on songs lasts until 70 years after the deaths of all the writers. At the time Life was released, it may only have been 50 years, and the duration may have been slightly different in Italy, but the songs were certainly still within copyright. Errol Brown's still alive for starters.

You may be thinking of copyright on the actual recordings, which is shorter, but it's still 50 years after the time of recording. And in this case the recordings were made illegally (as with all bootlegs) and therefore aren't owned by the bootlegger but would (I think) technically belong either to the band or the venue.

The press articles would also have been copyright of their original writers or publications and, of course, the lyrics were printed without the various publishers' permissions.

100% bootleg.

@100% bootleg.

as you want, no problems
anyway i think that there's difference between not autorised and bootlegs

the editor " Stampa alternativa" pressed almost 20 groups books or so like joy Division, Bauhaus,Doors, ect and was a registered editor house that sell and distribuite press and mags in Italy and worldwide with regular Vat.
Caroline import distribuite it in uk.
the 2 songs was registered to Siae (bpi) so difficulty to think a bootlegs

Anyway Im not the Evil lawyer

I have the postcards from above the chemist book with the Eldritch signature, a big difference with the ones offered now on ebay (maybe he was drunk)...

It is also very vertical, to be pedantic. Also the curve at the top and base of the "E" is very different from these pics.
I also am not saying these are fake/real.... just my observations.

How many sigs do you think he would he do in one sitting... with the one pen...?
