Torrential rain, thunder, lightning, mud- as well as landslides and consequently evacuations etc. She was originally going to watch TSOM, but now she's glad she didn't. Depending on how bad the weather is, there might not even have been a gig at all...
Wowsa, luckily it turned out otherwise! Now, I need to know, is this her of dog/leash fame? :D

No, that's not Clare. That was Joanne, who, last I checked (which admittingly was a few years ago), still lives in Belgium, not Japan.

You might have met Clare at James's 50th birthday a few years back. She's originally from Sheffield, and famous for surviving Japanese earthquakes (see my posting about her in the Japanes earthquake thread), nuclear disasters, typhoons and being a very close friend of mine even though she lives halfway round the world. No dogs nor leashes required...

Some more summary I've just received :D :
- despite stormy weather everything at the festival was perfectly well organised, no delays etc.;
- the gig was short but great and the Japanese fans would love to see The Sisters again in the future, after waiting for them for so long;
- a lot of good time and fun was had by everybody. :D
