Not everyone's favourite Bond but he was 'my' Bond' growing up and i loved the innuendos and the raised eyebrows.
RIP
and didn't he once own a house near Leeds/Bradford? At least, I've been told so several times by some folks, unasked for ... ...
89 of age is nice, though. RIP, Roger Moore ...and concolences to all his friends and family.

My old friends told me some stories about him in Heswall (on the Wirral) today, all good and innocent btw, so that is two Bond's that have a connection with a little town that I know too well
....if I have to explain, then you'll never understand....

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

This just sucks, but "at least" he was 89 and had had (one hopes) a rich and full life. He was "my" Bond, because I grew up with his silly/hokey/sarcastic version of the ever-suave spy (vs. Connery et al). He was one of my first (juvenile) crushes, too, haha! Yikes. *Sigh*
I left my heart in Ballycastle...
