Floodland on 180gm vinyl

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Just got my copy and Cabaret Voltaire's Microphonies on 180 g too. Happy days :), just about to give it a listen

Edit .. It would have been nice to have the original inner sleeve and insert reproduced for this. But hey ho, life is hard.... :) :)

Well, it is definitely a different source tape, nice to hear different versions of well loved tracks, esp. at such high quality.

There are a few small, mainly keyboard bits that I would swear aren't on the original versions also but that could just be the remastering picking bits out, but Mr.Zombie pointed out the main differences.

Floodland : Redux or is it a Directors Cut?

Mine arrived today! :notworthy:

Haven't listened yet, I'm saving it for the weekend. :)
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Just picked this bad boy up at the local record shop. All these years later would you all still recommend it?

Oh hell yes
Somewhere on a tiny planet

Lost in time
Lost in space
