Basically I'm a f u c kwit. I have a few real life friends on here and chose not to use my real name as when I first joined I thought it would be a laugh to pretend it wasn't me. It quite clearly is though. I use my real name (not necessarily the one I was born with...) on most forums, or occasional...

I get Christmas Day, New Years Day plus 25 days whenever I want, but if I want any other bank holidays I have to take them out of my own. Most people who know me think I get a lot more than that as I seem to be off all over the place stalking my fave band but I mainly manage this by working Saturday...

Ooh I hope Debaser saw this in time! Anyone going to the Northampton Cope gig on 2nd October by the way is obliged to bring birthday sweets for the Debased one. It's not actually her bd for a couple of days after that (although it is my other half's that night) so there is a reasonable chance we wil...

The Macc lads were twats. All went to Kings Macc (the posh fee-paying school round there) and seemed to think it was hilarious to "parody" the lower orders so to speak. They used to drink in the pub where my mate worked and they would come in on a Saturday evening and p*ss in pint pots and...

First gig - The Jesus & Mary Chain, Manchester International 1986. It was over 18s and we were only 14, so desite never having been much of a goth I let my goth best mate do my make-up so we looked suitably ageless and got in no problem. Last gig - The Boxer Rebellion, Oldham Castle last night. ...

Embrace? Betwetting dirges, dear sir. Not to be played in polite company, surely? I really hated that band. And the Verve. Maybe my scathing review in the Hounslow Chronicle was the thing that pushed Embrace over the edge, though I somehow doubt it. I don't want to scare you but they're back. They ...

On his stag night my mate Brian (for anyone on W***ville that's Julia C's hubby) was dragged into a karaoke booth and forced to perform "Rawhide" by his mates, which he doesn't actually remember... or didn't, until his version turned up, remixed by sound engineer friends, over a cheesy Ibi...

British Sea Power at Berlin Roter Salon, September 2003. The already dark red room darkens, and the sounds of Sir John Betjeman reciting a mildly rude poem about a buxom Yorkshirewoman emerge through the PA. There is no backstage area for the band to appear from. Then there is a tinkling sound and t...
