No way! The only way I will buy the remastered albums would be if my original CD's became damaged. So far they all work fine.

(btw, I have the song now and it's great, maybe just a little too long)

Never land (full length)

I want to hear this song badly! However I don't want to buy the whole Floodland Remastered album just for it. Any tips? I haven't found any mp3's at all of this song... All I have found is the "a fragment" version.

Maybe AE should go back to the method that worked in the first place: he wants to hear himself on the radio, and presses a thousand copies of the new single.

does anyone actually know how TSOM could improve so DRAMATICALLY from 1980 to 1982? It can't be all about practice? :)

Or maybe Body Electric/Adrenochrome was their first serious effort, and the first single some sort of test.

soon every Sisters song has been mentioned. I vote for "Lucretia my reflection".

Just KIDDING!

Of course it's the first single that is the worst. Total crap, but at least it was a start.

"Torch" is simply not a good song. It's the only flaw on the otherwise magnificent Floodland cd album.

instrumental beauty... it should be played as an intro on live gigs, or in a medley.

That's easy. Nothing ever again... A very bad release would lower TSOM's overall reputation. I would like to remember them as a band that made great music. Not a band that made great music, and then totally failed.

I consider The Sisterhood as more of a temporary project than a band. I don't think Eldritch had the intention of making something big of it.

In early 2003 I predicted that nothing would happen concerning TSOM in 2003/2004 and I hate to say that I was right.

As resonse to the original thread question: The only thing I like about AE is his voice and the music he has produced. To list the things I don't like about him takes much longer time.

The most interesting question about this "problem" is how the confusion occured in the first place, and Quiff Boy has now explained it clearly. Thanks for that. The next thing to be answered: How can we make this confusion stop for ever? Can it be done? My contribution to the solution: Sha...

Dark, I agree with you that "Heartland" should have been shortened also. I think it's the biggest flaw in some sisters songs that they go on too long. The same with "This Corrosion"

it works tremendously well. This song is excellent the first 4 minutes... I wish the fadeout had come around there. Personally I don't need the last 2 minutes of the song.

I have something to add about this song. (I'm talking about TSOM's version) The first verse is: Oh, see the storm is threatening My very life today If I don't get some shelter Yeah, I'm gonna fade away This verse is repeated when 2 min 20 sec has passed. However it's not an absolute repeat, Line 3 i...

Sometimes I'm interested in knowing who wrote/performed a song originally if I suspect a song I hear is a cover. Does anyone know any big database internet site where I can find such information?

yes, Maggie did backing vocals on all Vision Thing songs (the ones that contain backing vocals). I think she's the best singer Von has worked with. Her delicate voice is a perfect contrast to his baritone.
